探秘文字奧秘:非華語學生課後字詞學習活動

為了協助非華語學生更有效地學習中文,本校於今年 2 月至 5 月期間,與香港理工大學雙語閱讀研究實驗室合作,舉辦了共 10 節的「課後字詞小博士」課程。課程採用互動遊戲及探究式學習,引導學生觀察漢字的結構,藉此提升他們的「語素意識」及認讀能力。比起單純的抄寫,學生在課堂中更像是在玩偵探遊戲,從中發掘認字的規律。
這幾個月間,我們欣然看見孩子們的轉變:從最初對中文感到陌生,到現在能自信地參與討論、主動認讀字詞。這系列活動不僅增強了他們的讀寫基礎,更提升了學習中文的信心。課程雖然告一段落,但希望同學們能保持這份學習興趣,繼續在中文學習的路上進步。
Unlocking the Secrets of Chinese: NCS Literacy Programme
To support our NCS students, our school partnered with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Bilingual Reading Research Laboratory from February to May for a 10-session "Word Doctor" programme.
Moving beyond traditional copying, students explored Chinese character structures through interactive "word detective" games. This inquiry-based approach successfully enhanced their morphological awareness and recognition skills.
We are proud to see our students grow from being hesitant to becoming confident learners who now actively participate in discussions. While the programme has concluded, we hope this newfound interest empowers them to continue excelling in their Chinese learning journey!
